Currently, I'm a music major at Cal State LA, but my music journey began when I was at church learning how to play the bass. Joining the music ministry made me want to further my knowledge in music, which then began at Rio Hondo Community College.

Before that,! had no knowledge in music. I had no history in music theory or fundamentals of music or musicianship. Everything I learned was through creativity or through YouTube tutorials.

At Rio Hondo, I was invited to perform at an event called Frank and Friends, which we played blues, pop, rock, bossa nova, and along with many other genres. I performed and participated in that event for about three years, and also performed with the music faculty, which then we performed “Milonga del Angel by Astor Piazzolla”.

When I was an alto in Rio Hondo's choir, the entire section got sick before a huge performance, and I ended up being the only alto at the Biola University concert.

My ultimate goal is to become an elementary school music teacher, where I believe that everyone has the opportunity to learn through creativity
